Boots Boots Boots!!

Snow in October??
I don't know about you guys, but I am so not ready for the winter and the cold. Fall, I can totally handle, with the sweaters, light scarves, vests, and boots!
I noticed that this fall there are a lot of boots that I absolutely adore. The military/ southern inspired boots are in again as well as laced boots, wedged boots, fur boots, and don't forget the glitter boots.

(Tory Burch)
Ive seen a lot of people walking around in these types of boots. Tall, leather, and with a small heel. I think that out of all the ones I have seen, these Tory Burtch are my favorites. They are rather simple looking but look great on!

(Alice + Olivia)
(Bottega Veneta)

(Jimmy Choo)
I am in love with these shoes! When I first saw them come out a few months ago I thought they were the perfect amount or sparkles with an ideal heel!
(Valentino)

(Valentino)
How classic and girly are these boots? I think these might be one of my favorite pair of tall boots out this year. It is a classic Suede boot with a girly flair added with the leather bows going down the back. You can wear these out with jeans or even a dress and a fall pea coat. Obsessed!

And like with all shoes I've seen some that have left me wondering who would wear them? Or just puzzled in general
(Miu Miu)
Not really sure how I feel about these. This is the new heel that Miu Miu has been introducing on their shoes this season, but the design, the yellow, and all that glitter put together... I'm just not convinced. Do you agree?

(Jimmy Choo)
Now I'm not quite sure where to begin with these... I know tonight is Halloween so with some sort of costumer I would totally wear these, but otherwise I don't think so. I feel like the feathers are a tab bit out of place.

(Prada)
I know that these are the style this season, yet I cannot say that I am impressed or would want to wear these. If I was looking to wear shows with high socks or stockings I would, but to create a boot that combines the two is a little odd and awkward looking to me. Do you agree?

Geri Halliwell vs. Victoria Beckham

Late this August Gari Halliwell came out with a new line of gowns, following in the footsteps of her fellow Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham. Halliwell's goal was to create beautiful and affordable gowns for girls.

I must admit I am rather disappointed in this collection and think that they definitely look affordable but not very jaw dropping or stunning. I have to say I think this new line was a flop. Do you agree?

On the contrary though, I am in love with Victoria Beckham's line. The dresses are definitely beautiful and look amazing on everyone. For the most part Posh's dresses are form fitting yet elegant or casual depending on the look you are going for. Even celebrities such as Eva Longoria and Kim Kardashian have been spotted wearing pieces from Beckham's line. I would definitely love to be seen in one of these!

Definitely think Geri should have stuck to singing and let Victoria design the dress collection. What do you think?

Dance

With the new trend of ballroom dance and dance in general I have been finding a lot of ads and designer campaigns with dance in them. I absolutely adore them and am fascinated with how amazing some of the photography is!

The Chloe campaign just recently came out with this video and I am absolutely in love with it! The music and the dancing:

The Lanvin Fall 2011 campaign came out in August, I think its kind of interesting:

Time for the Fur Vests

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

It’s finally been getting chillier outside and I love it! I am so ready for those fall outfits. Fur vests, boots, sweaters, and my favorite accessory, the scarf. I have to admit I have been on the search for the perfect Faux fur vest for a year now and think I finally found the one. It’s the  Aqua Stand Collar Faux Fur Vest made exclusively for Bloomingdales.

What I love most about it is the length, color, and texture. It has the perfect length to elongate you and not awkwardly cut off right above your waist. It has a great color that can match almost anything and can be worn during the day or evening. You can dress this up or down. Wear it on a casual day out in the city with a cute pair of flats or even towards the evenings with a nice sweater and a cute pair of riding or tall heeled boots.
I finally had chance to wear it the other night when I went to the BC vs. Umass Hockey game. I kept it rather casual with a pair of skinny J Brand jeans a long white t-shirt and Tory Burch flats.

A couple of my top favorite vests out there right now are Diane von Furstenberg Funnellia Crop Fur vest, although this one is real fur rather than faux and the Rachel Zoe faux fur vest. As you can tell I am a bigger fan of the longer vests than the shorter ones. The longer ones seem more classic to me and can be worn in more ways. I know that many are opposed to real fur but I have to admit I have been seeing a lot of real fur vests out there and they are gorgeous! Michael Kors came out with the rabbit derby vest as well as the Elie Tahari Samara Fox vest, both of which i think are stunning.

I know that this season colors are in, from red and purple jeans and to neon tops. I’ve tried on a purple and blue Faux Fur vest that was similar to the style of this one, but wasn’t sure if I could pull it off and match it with what in my closet. What do you think about color faux fur vests and real fur vests?
