Justin Timberlake Attends Marine Corps Ball

We all remember seeing the video when Mila Kunis was asked out to the Marine Corps ball. It was shocking and surprising and also started a trend. Soon after many more celebs were asked out, including Justin Timberlake who accepted.
Justin Showed up to the ball looking as handsome as ever in his black suite and black bow accompanying his date Corporal Kelsey DeSantis. After the ball Justin wrote about it on his website saying that he had an amazing time and one of the most moving events he's been to. He went on to say that Kelsey was a great date, polite, humble, and was more concerned with him having a good time. He said "I have to tell you, it's not every day that I meet a 23 year old girl and she's more worried about if I'm having fun or if I'm comfortable! It hit me all of a sudden that these were the type of people that look after us and our freedom" which was one of my all time favorite quotes. Thank you Justin for showing support to our troops!

VS Fashion Show

Its that time of year again! The annual Victorias Secret Fashion show. We all heard about the $2.5 mil bra that has 3,400 gems which includes, pearls, aqua marines, and citrines, as well as 142 carats of diamonds that model Miranda Kerr would be wearing down the runway. The show was colorful as ever and I thought it was one of the best, see for yourselves.
Absolutely in love with the bra!
... And look who made a guest appearance

The Kite Runner

Tonight I had the opportunity to go see the American Place Theatre's Literature to Life Stage Presentation of: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini Performed by Sorab Wadia and Directed by Wynn Handman.
The American Place Theatre's Literature to Life is an Off Broadway production company and this show was a one man show. I have to admit, sometimes I am a little skeptical of one man shows because of how difficult it is and not many people can captivate the audience and send the right message when playing the part. Sorab Wadia was captivating, emotional, grabbed the attention and moved the entire audience, he was simply put, impeccable.
To portray the characters of more than one hero was amazing and he was definitely up for the challenge. From a young boy, to a bully, to a father, a young man looking back on his life, Wadia nailed each part. When he cried the entire audience did too, and each emotion he acted out the audience felt and understood.
The entire story line was moving and captivating. I think all the right scenes were picked and reenacted. Sorab Wadia whole heartedly played the parts. I felt each emotion and his spirit gave life to the entire play, seeing as he was a one man show.
I read the book when it first came out, so for me this was very touching and I probably understood more than those who did not read the novel did. Yet, I must say that the play was presented in such a way that anyone could enjoy it and understand it even if they had not read the book or seen the movie. I am sure that this show will be traveling around some more and I think it is definitely worth your while to go watch it and learn and experience something new.
Sorab Wadia
Enjoy!

Bang Style

I was at my salon this weekend and my hair stylist introduced me to this great new fashion and hair website that has recently been launched. This site is aimed mainly towards college students and young adults. It focuses on hair culture with art, photography, fashion, news, entertainment, and even music.

Many salon professionals are now joining this site to follow on what is popular, hair products, top salons, and even top hair stylists. They can add their salon, pictures, and products to the site to gain publicity as well as to allow people to comment and rate them as well.
The Site is gaining publicity and is starting a new underground marketing technique to get word out about some of their hair products before they come out with them. They list what salons will carry their products along with other information that is interesting and relevant to young adults, yet the products are not out on the market yet, they will be out in the near future. So keep a look out and follow their site!

I was playing around on the website and found it to be very interesting, the layout is clean and organized making it easy and fun for users to use. I was reading through some of the entertainment articles and there is something there for everyone from news about James Franco to the Mob Museum opening in Las Vegas. Also, under entertainment I found some great events that were listed, and a great way for people to hear about things that they are interested in and wishing to visit.
And one of my favorite things about their site... the fashion stories and articles. Just like with any blog you can read up on what some thing about upcoming trends and styles, along with do's and don'ts. I think that is is a great up and coming site that not only gives you information about hair products, salons, and stylists, but everything in between. So take a look, and keep an eye out for their products coming out soon!
