Gotta Love the Stripes

Saw this dress at Lilly Pulitzer the other day and fell in love. I have to admit i am not only a huge Lilly fan ( i probably have several of her dresses and tops laying around in my closet) but I am a huge fan of stripes. I'm pretty sure if you go into my closet you will find plenty of the J. Crew striped long sleeve t's and short sleeves and maybe even a a dress similar to this one hidden away somewhere. I don't know why but I love the stripes. I think its the classic, american, preppy day look and i love it! Last season J. Crew actually came out with a dress similar to this one which they typically paired with a belt or a blazer, and it flew off the shelves within a few weeks.

Now Lilly Pulitzer is a fun girly designer that loves to incorporate prints on many of her dresses. Being from New England I think id pair the dress up with this charming Gold Starfish Bracelet instead of the gold bangles.
