Bongiorno! 

I just spent the most amazing week in Italy! I spent a couple days in Milan and then headed over to Florence for the rest of the time. Can I just say that I am in love with the country, the culture, fashion, people, and obviously the food!

So Ready to Wear Fall 2012

Looks like suits are back! But not your average suits, the new look by Miu Miu is more form fitted and masculine, yet colorful and full of patterns! I have to say this show was one of my favorites compared to the other designers at the fashion show.

How colorful and fun are these suits?! Not sure about being able to pull off all of them, but i am so excited that colors are still in for the fall!

Now for my favorite of all the designers at the show... Valentino. Can we just say how stunning, classic, elegant, and tasteful all of there pieces are? By far the best collection for the fall! 

Love, Love, Love their show but on a side note can we just say that they were inspired by the Pilgrims? Tell me if you agree.

Fall Fashion 2012 Flops

What was Louis Vuitton thinking, and what on earth were they inspired by? Typically I love their runway shows but other than the array of colors I cant say that i liked a single thing they were parading. 

You'll find that the 60s are back and so is leather, as well as pants underneath dresses and skirts, cant say im a fan, but maybe you are.

 

Now Alexander McQueen on the other hand... they shot horses didn't they?

I honestly can't find the words to describe what happened there. Its as if they were inspired by hair and sea weed and oysters. A for color but F for design and style this year.. I honestly can't say that their fashion line is ready to wear.

Can you say horse maine?

Normally i have to say Chanel is one of my all time favorite classic and tasteful designers. However, the new Fall 2012 ready-to-wear collection is so not that! Its more military inspired and definitely has a feel of the Burberry mens coat collection. You'll also find that like like Louis Vuitton they too incorporate the new style of pants under dresses and skirts. There are only a few pieces that have the true essence of the classic Chanel and those i adore! 

...The rest on the other hand not so much. I think some of their pieces got lost in the 80s!
